I don’t know about you, but I’ve got my Christmas lists made out for my kids, my niece, my parents, my in-laws, my son’s teacher, and our neighbors. Do you know who I often struggle with? My husband! Guys are just so hard to buy for! If you searching for ideas for a dad in your life, this gift guide for dads will give you some great ideas!
Alright. Let’s get real. I’m a girl! I have no idea what guys like or would want for Christmas! So I enlisted the main man in my life to help me out! My better half, Tom! 🙂 We decided to split it up into 5 different types of dads, although I think Tom fits into most of these and would probably be thrilled with any of these gifts for Christmas! We chose to split the personality types into:
- The DIYer
- The Techie
- The Manly Man
- The Sports Fan
- The Exercise Enthusiast
We also worked hard to find gift ideas in multiple price ranges. You will find all ranges in each personality. My goal was to give ideas for every dad in each of the personality types and in any budget category.
I hope you are able to find a gift idea for the dads in your life!

If your man loves DIY projects but doesn’t have any type of saw, this is definitely the one to start out with. It’s affordable and can be used for a ton of different projects.
