Fall Cleaning Checklist

I’m going to be honest. I’m not a great “deep” cleaner. I can manage to keep up with daily tasks and my weekly cleaning schedule. But actually getting the forgotten tasks done isn’t something on my regular to-do list. That’s why I try to diligently follow through with a spring and fall cleaning routine. So today I’m sharing with you my fall cleaning checklist. This includes all the tasks I’m planning to tackle around my house over the next few weeks. Make sure to scroll to the bottom of this post to download a copy of the checklist for yourself!

Get your house in tip top shape before the holidays with this fall cleaning checklist!

We recently moved into our home this past May. It was a new construction home. To be honest, I had the crazy idea that I probably wouldn’t need to do any deep cleaning until next spring. Well, that was just about the most ridiculous thought I’ve had in a while. With two crazy boys running in and out of the house, a large dog who goes barreling through the house on a daily basis, and all the dust, dirt, and debris we’ve tracked through while working on the exterior of this house, a good deep cleaning is definitely in order.

I’m spreading out my fall cleaning schedule over the course of about 8-10 weeks. By tackling 3-5 tasks each week, I will hopefully complete the checklist by Thanksgiving. By giving myself plenty of time to accomplish these tasks, I’m hoping to avoid that sense of overwhelm right before the holidays. Can you relate?!

So without further ado, here are the fall cleaning tasks I’m hoping to accomplish in our home. Make sure you don’t forget to scroll to the bottom of this post so you can download a copy of the fall cleaning checklist for yourself!
