Homemade White Christmas Candy

I grew up with my mom making homemade Christmas candy every December.  We would fill our kitchen countertops and dining room table full of this candy to take to friends and family as homemade Christmas gifts. Of course, we had to keep a little to snack on throughout the month as well!

Now that I’m a mom, I have carried on the candy-making tradition with my boys. It wouldn’t quite feel like Christmas without making at least a couple batches of this recipe!

Begin by collecting your ingredients. You will need:

  • 2 c. Rice Krispies cereal
  • 2 c. dry roasted salted peanuts
  • 2 c. pretzel sticks
  • white almond bark
  • 2 Tbs. creamy peanut butter

Start by breaking the pretzel sticks in half. I had a great helper to do this for me! 🙂 He enjoyed snacking on a few pretzels as well.

Combine the pretzels, peanuts, and Rice Krispies in a large bowl.

In a microwave safe bowl, combine the almond bark and peanut butter. Microwave for 1 1/2 minutes. Stir. Then heat another 1 1/2 minutes until completely melted.

Quickly pour the almond bark mixture into the peanut mixture.

With a large wooden spoon, mix until fully incorporated.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. Allow to harden for 1 1/2 - 2 hours. Store in a air tight container layered with waxed paper.

This recipe is super easy and makes a great gift for neighbors, friends from church, or co-workers!

Do you have a family favorite Christmas recipe?
