My Favorite Kitchen Organizers

If you are starting from scratch, organizing a kitchen can be a daunting task. Last winter, I shared an entire series on how I organized my kitchen. However, just a few short months later we moved to a new house with a very different kitchen set up. I lost my amazing walk-in pantry and had to get creative with how I stored all of my kitchen essentials. It wasn’t easy, but there were a few kitchen organizers that made things just a little bit easier!

My Favorite Kitchen Organizers

Turn Tables

I use these in so many rooms, but my kitchen is definitely my favorite! They make getting to things in the back of cabinets or the refrigerator so much easier. Lazy Susans are perfect for corner cabinets or deep pantries!

Shelf Doublers

If you’re running short on space in your kitchen, adding shelf doublers almost always helps! We use one in our tall pantry cabinet to store our bread. It’s a great way to add extra space. Plus it keeps our breads from getting smushed!

Under Shelf Baskets

If you can’t go up with a shelf doubler, then maybe you can add more storage underneath shelves with an under shelf basket! These are perfect for storing things like bread, coffee, or plastic wraps and storage bags! I used them in our old house to store our bread and now I use them in our new house to add space in our linen closet. They hold Clorox wipes containers perfectly!

Water Bottle Storage

This is probably my favorite organizer I use in my kitchen! Do you have a ton of water bottles, blender bottles, travel coffee mugs, and the like? Well we sure do. And we use them all almost on a daily basis so purging much more just wasn’t an option. But they kept toppling over in our cabinet and made it so hard to get to the one we wanted when it was in the back!

But this little organizer is the best! It stores the bottles horizontally! I can easily fit 12 on my shelf! 🙂 If you have a water bottle storage problem, you need these in your life! You can thank me later. 😉

Food Storage Containers

I love how using the same food storage containers really simplifies and unifies a space! Over the past several months I’ve slowly invested in these containers from Walmart. They range in price from $4-$9 a piece. I’ve just picked up one or two each week when I’m doing my regular grocery shopping.

They are very similar to the OXO food storage containers, but are about half to a third of the price! So far, they are working wonderfully for our needs. I really love that I don’t have opened boxes and bags cluttering up my pantry. Everything has a designated space and it’s very easy to see when I’m running low on something. As I’m planning my grocery list, I just take a quick scan each of my pantry pull-out drawers and add needed items to my list!

Refrigerator Baskets

I love using baskets in the refrigerator to corral like items. My favorite are the clear plastic baskets. These really make finding what you need easy. Plus you can see what you are running low on! I use baskets for our meat and cheese items, fruit, cheese sticks, yogurt, and small dairy products.

Can Organizer

I’ve been using this can organizer for about 7 years now and it’s still going strong! It makes seeing all of your canned goods easy. Plus, it expands so you can make it work in a variety of different spaces. I’m currently using it in a cabinet, but I’ve also used it on a variety of different sized pantry shelves as well!

I hope you found some great organizing solutions for your kitchen! I’d love to hear what you love to use to organize your kitchen! Share in the comments below!
