Spring Cleaning Checklist + A GIVEAWAY!!

I LOVE spring cleaning!! Opening the windows to let in the fresh spring air always makes me a happier mom. Getting the house clean is just icing on the cake. But actually getting the job done can be daunting. After a long winter cooped up indoors, my home sure needs a good deep cleaning. Trying to remember every task that needs to be done is overwhelming. That’s why I rely on quality products and a simple checklist to get everything done efficiently!

For your convenience I’ve included affiliate links. Read my entire disclosure policy here.

I’m all for quick and easy cleaning solutions. I don’t want to spend all my days cleaning my home. But I also know the value in a clean and tidy home. Instead of spending several weekends cleaning, I try to break up my tasks into 1-2 per day over the course of a few weeks. This way, I’m only spending 10-20 minutes per day cleaning a space in my home.

Spring Cleaning Tips

  • Start with a picked-up space. Do any regular daily maintenance tasks before getting started.
  • Work Room-by-Room. Complete one entire space before moving onto the next.
  • Give yourself plenty of time. Don’t expect to get everything done in one weekend.
  • If you have kids at home, work in 15-30 minute spurts. Use a timer and work quickly. When the timer goes off, take a break.
  • Give yourself grace. If you completely skip tasks, it’s okay. The dust will still be there come the fall. I promise, it isn’t going anywhere. 😉

Spring Cleaning Products

I’m all about keeping the products I use simple. But I’ve definitely found a few key items to make accomplishing the tedious and usually unpleasant jobs much easier.

My favorite spring cleaning products include:

  • eCloth General Purpose Cloths
  • eCloth Window Cloths
  • eCloth Dusting Glove
  • eCloth Mop
  • eCloth Dusting Wand
  • Method Toilet Bowl Cleaner
  • Method Foaming Bathroom Cleaner
  • Method Daily Wood Cleaner
  • Magic Erasers

I love using my eCloth products while spring cleaning in my home. I feel safe using them around my kids since they clean with only water. I’m able to removed dirt, grease, grime, and even bacteria and mold without any harsh chemicals.

My general purpose cloth is perfect for cleaning all of my solid surfaces. It gets off tough build up without chemicals and minimal scrubbing.

I use a combination of my general purpose cloth and my window cloth to get my stainless steel appliances clean and shiny! I use the damp general purpose cloth to remove in grime and then shine and polish with the window cloth.

My dusting glove might be my very favorite product! I’ve always dreaded cleaning my ceiling fans. It’s been so time consuming in the past and then causes my floors to be covered in dust. Ugh! It’s so frustrating.

But I grabbed one of these dusting gloves a few months back and, holy cow, what a difference! I can clean all 4 ceiling fans in about 5 minutes. I don’t dread doing it anymore so it actually gets done about once a month which has eliminated the build up problem. The dusting glove holds onto all the dust so it doesn’t go flying all around the room anymore! This glove is also great for cleaning window blinds!

Finally my eCloth mop has made mopping easier and faster. All I do is run the mop pad under some water and attach it to my mop. I can then mop my entire floors with just water! I’m no longer worried about my kids or dog playing around on the floor because I don’t have to use harsh chemicals to get the job done!
